Roxanne and Gina Colabelli’s involvement in fashion began at an early age. The boutique owner’s, Gina and Roxanne, grew up in a fashion conscious household, from their grandparents to their mother. Roxanne and Gina were familiar with wearing custom clothing growing up. As children, they cultivated their knowledge of fashion by watching their grandmother create customized masterpieces. They created clothes for their dolls from the excess fabric that was not being used. Roxanne and Gina proceeded to build their skills and apply their talents toward creating an idealistic setting reflecting their love of fashion.

Their vision of the Red Carpet Boutique stemmed from a dream through their dedication and passion. Red Carpet Boutique has created a motto that “Everyone can afford to look like a celebrity”. Red Carpet Boutique carries everything from costume jewelry to custom made gowns. A majority of consumers that shop in the boutique are fashion savvy and are looking to spice up their evening or daily wear. A consumer can take that perfect little black dress and add accessories such as an evening clutch to a vibrant necklace creating that dramatic look that will turn heads. Red Carpet Boutique specializes in creating the overall look for you by coordinating the look you strive to achieve. The boutique carries the latest in accessories, which includes, costume to semi-precious jewelry, evening bags, handbags, as well as trendy clothing. The boutique is in tune to the latest trends, where all merchandise is selected individually for its originality. The boutique is known for being unique in its assortment of merchandise. Roxanne is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in NYC. Her senior collection was on display at Sotheby’s in NYC. She interned at Michael Kors, as well as designing for a high-end woman’s clothing line while in school. She was a Modernist Specialist/Personal Shopper at Neiman Marcus for Designer Sportswear. Roxanne most recently designed for Macy’s private label in New York City. Her lingerie and sleepwear experience from several companies has helped her to utilize these elements throughout her custom designs from streetwear to evening gowns.

Gina initially began her college education in the medical field, then found interest in Architecture. Her love for art and finance encouraged her to pursue her studies within the fashion industry. Gina studied International Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. She also has extensive experience in the financial aspect of the fashion industry. Gina’s impulse to fashion has helped Red Carpet Boutique bloom as the local “go to” for the latest in trends. She actively involves herself in the merchandising assortment of Red Carpet Boutique as it continues to prosper.

Red Carpet Boutique is located at 359 Millburn Ave. in the heart of downtown Millburn, NJ. The boutique’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10AM to 6PM.
